To say we were disappointed is an understatement, but throughout we recognized that this was a "leap of faith" or to put it more bluntly - a gamble.

It's the type of thing that lead to great succes or leave you with that kicked in teeth feeling, but you cannot achieve great things without risking much. This is a truth that we are striving to make peace with.

Was the event a failure? Only God can answer that question, but I have Bible full of moments where God rejoices over His children who trust Him enough to fling themselves into Daddy's arms. I'm choosing to believe He hasn't changed His feelings on that.

So now we pull back, regroup, and listen for the next direction. We remind each other of our story and how He cares for the faithful. We celebrate the good things have come out of last night and seek to be as faithful with those opportunities as the last. Who knows what He has planned now?

Thank you to the friends who showed their support in attending, in their prayers, words of encouragement, and even financially. You mean the world to us and we couldn't pursue our dreams without you. And, Daveaux, thanks for the perspective.Emilyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07252192811655084466noreply@blogger.com
